Management Workshops for the Evolving Public Utility
Agency teams should plan to attend Thinking, Getting & Staying Competitive: Workshops for the Evolving Public Utility, which will be held in nine regional locations between the months of April and November 1998. The teams will learn how to lead their agencies through the competitive change process at these workshops being co-sponsored by AMSA and the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies (AMWA).
Workshops are scheduled for Providence, RI, April 21&22; Philadelphia, Penn., April 23&24; San Francisco, Calif., June 2&3; Los Angeles, Calif., June 4&5; Seattle, Wash., June 8&9; Northbrook (Chicago), Ill., September 15&16; Kansas City, Mo., September 17&18; Atlanta, Ga., November 17&18; and, Houston, Texas, November 19&20.
