Hotel Accommodations & Rates
The Association of Metropolitan Sewerage Agencies (AMSA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF) have secured a special group rate of $219 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Marriott Metro Center for conference attendees. Reservations must be made by Friday, April 15, 2005 to receive the special rate. After this date, AMSA and WEF must release the unreserved rooms and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Marriott Metro Center at 202-737-2200. Be sure to identify yourself as a National Clean Water Policy Conference attendee.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out is 12:00 pm. Baggage storage is available for your convenience. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the hotel. The address and telephone number of the Marriott Metro Center is: 775 12th Street, NW; phone: 202-737-2200.

Conference Registration Fees & Information
To register for the 35th Anniversary Annual Meeting and/or the National Clean Water Policy Forum, please print and complete the registration form (PDF), then mail or fax it along with your registration fee(s) payable to AMSA. You may also register online at AMSA’s website (www.amsa-cleanwater.org/meetings/) or at WEF’s website (www.wef.org). Advance registrations must be received by Friday, April 22, 2005. Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via mail or e-mail. Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed in writing.

Registration Fees:
Attendees have the option to customize their participation as several registration choices are available. Attendees should select the registration option best suits their needs:

  • AMSA’s 35th Anniversary Annual Meeting & National Clean Water Policy Forum (May 1-4) - $650
    Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in AMSA committee meetings, Sunday (May 1) evening reception, Monday (May 2) Awards Luncheon, Annual Association Business Meeting and 35th Anniversary Gala as well as the full National Clean Water Policy Forum program (May 3-4).
  • AMSA’s 35th Anniversary Gala (May 2, 6:00 – 10:00 pm) & National Clean Water Policy Forum (May 3-4) - $400
    On the evening of May 2nd, attendees will join AMSA members past and present to celebrate and reflect on the Association’s success and commitment to our nation’s waters over the past 35 years of commitment to America’s waters. Registrants will also receive full registration to the National Clean Water Policy Forum on May 3-4, 2005)
  • National Clean Water Policy Forum (May 3-4) - $250
    Attendees will receive full registration to the first National Clean Water Policy Forum, which will include two full days of engaging program. Included in the registration fee is a luncheon and reception on Tuesday, May 3rd and a full breakfast during the roundtable session on May 4.

Cancellation Policy:
A full refund will be made if the cancellation is received by AMSA by April 22. Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.

Ground Transportation
The Marriott Metro Center is approximately 20 minutes from National Airport. The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however there are several transportation alternatives to choose from:

Taxi:
$15 from National, $55 from Dulles, $60 from Baltimore

Super Shuttle:
Available from National, Dulles or Baltimore – representatives are available at all area airports or call 800/258-3826. Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttle to arrange for return transport to the airport.

Metro (subway):
Blue line train (direction – Largo Town Center/Addison Road) from National Airport to Metro Center. From Metro Center, exit at G & 12th Streets toward the Marriott Metro Center which is approximately 2 blocks away.

Car Rental:
AMSA has selected Avis Rent-A-Car as the official car rental company for the 2005 National Environmental Policy Forum & 35th Annual Meeting. Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800/331-1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081.

Hotel Parking:
The Marriott Metro Center has valet parking available at $25 per day, including in-and-out privileges.
