AMSA has reserved a small block of guest rooms at the Omni Rosen Hotel to facilitate attendance at the Legal Affairs Committee meeting by members and counsel. The rooms are available from October 3 to October 7 at the rate of $153/night. November Law Seminar Planned
The October 6 Legal Affairs Committee meeting precedes an AMSA/Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies fall legal affairs seminar, Developments in Water & Wastewater Law: A Seminar for Public Agency Attorneys, which will be held on November 12-13, 1998 at the Hyatt Islandia Hotel in San Diego, California. Mark your calendars now to attend this first-ever stand alone law seminar. The day and a half program will be taught by attorneys and continuing legal education credits will be offered. Additional information regarding the program, registration and hotel arrangements will be forwarded to members and agency counsels later this month.

Visit AMSA's Booth - Clean Water at the EXPO
Please stop by AMSA's booth during WEFTEC'98. The Association will be present to showcase the benefits of members, AMSA's publications and demo its web site, http://www.amsa-cleanwater.org, Clean Water on the Web. An interactive station will be set up at AMSA's booth and WEFTEC participants will be encouraged to "surf" the site. This is a great opportunity to share the benefits of membership with AMSA with nonmembers, and we encourage you to visit the site with a colleague who may be interested in learning more about the Association. Please check your exposition directory and locate AMSA at the exposition site.

We look forward to seeing you in October and November for these special offerings.
