WSSC Wastewater Plants Honored as Top Facilities

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission has received Peak Performance Awards
from the National Association of Clean water Agencies for operational excellence
at four of its six wastewater treatment plants, the Laurel-based utility
announced.
One of the facilities is the Parkway plant at Route 197 and the
Baltimore-Washington Parkway in South Laurel.
The awards honor plants that have excellent compliance records with federal
pollutant-removal regulations.
