And the winner is...
In Newark, N.J., the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commissioners (PVSC) has received a National Environmental Achievement Award from the Association of Metropolitan Sewerage Agencies in Washington, D.C. The award recognizes PVSC's Pollution Prevention Educational Outreach Program, which focuses on how litter, household and industrial wastes affect the quality of local waterways and is presented to third graders.
