06/13/97 - Addendum to RA 97-12:
Survey of Combustion Devices at POTWS

On June 4, 1997, AMSA's National Office distributed Regulatory Alert RA 97-12 requesting your assistance in completing a survey of combustion devices. The information requested in the survey will be used by the Air Quality Committee in negotiations with EPA on development of air emission standards for combustion devices, including those devices burning digester gas. On page two of the survey, it was indicated that the survey does not need to be completed if you do not combust digester gas. The Air Quality Committee requests that you provide some limited information on combustion devices that burn fuels other than digester gas, including but no limited to natural gas, diesel fuel, propane and sewage sludge. This information will assist the Committee in its preliminary evaluation of the potential number of major source POTWs due to both wastewater and combustion hazardous air pollutant emissions. The attached table lists the information that should be provided for combustion devices not burning digester gas. Please make additional copies of this table if you operate more combustion devices than can be listed on the attached table. For identical combustion devices as defined in the original survey, just list once and indicate the number of those devices.

Please mail or fax the attached table no later than June 30, 1997, to:
