The National Biosolids Partnership (NBP) has recently launched its new web site. Direct links have been established among all of the web sites of NBP's members, AMSA, the Water Environment Federation and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. As a founding member of the Partnership, AMSA will benefit greatly from this new Internet resource for publicly owned treatment works (POTWs). For further information and details on any biosolid issue the first place to look is . . . www.biosolids.org.
Check it Out . . .
The site is designed to serve as a central clearinghouse for communication of biosolids-related information. Numerous links have been established along with navigational tools to simplify information access on biosolids. The web site also includes information on the NBP's Environmental Management System for biosolids initiative.Other features include news, links to regional biosolids organizations, trade groups, state and federal regulatory agencies, technical documents, a calendar of events; and opportunities for technical information exchange. The web site will be instrumental in fulfilling the NBP's mission to assist communities across the country in going beyond minimum federal standards for biosolids quality.
