AMSA’s 35th Anniversary Annual Meeting & 2005 National Clean Water Policy Forum will be held at the Marriott Metro Center in Washington, DC, May 1 – 4, 2005. Make your plans to attend today — be sure to reserve your hotel accommodations by the April 8th deadline! To reserve your hotel room, simply call the Marriott at Metro Center at 202/737-2200. Be sure to indicate that you are a registrant for the “AMSA-WEF Conference” to reserve your room at the special rate of $219 single/double.After the April 8th reservation deadline, AMSA must release all unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted if space is available with no guarantees that the special conference rates will apply. Spring in Washington, DC is a very busy time, so don’t delay and reserve your room today!
President’s Reception & AMSA’s 35th Anniversary Gala — Tuxedo Rental Available!
Attire for the Association’s President’s Reception & AMSA’s 35th Anniversary Gala is “black-tie optional.” AMSA’s National Office has arranged for group-rate tuxedo rentals for interested members. Should you opt to take advantage of this service, your tuxedo will be delivered to the Marriott at Metro Center at 12:00 noon on Sunday, May 1st to allow for fitting and last-minute adjustments (a representative will be available at the hotel until 3:00 pm) and will be picked up after the President’s Reception & Gala on May 3rd. You may also place an order for your tuxedo on Sunday, May 1st to be delivered to the hotel on Monday. Complete tuxedo rental packages are available for $85 and up, with shoes available at an additional $15, plus applicable tax.
