NACWA invites you to join us for the annual Legal & Regulatory Hot Topics Breakfast on November 1 from 8:00-10:00 am at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Hotel during WEFTEC, the Water Environment Federation’s (WEF) annual technical exhibition and conference. The Breakfast will be held in the Renaissance West A Room at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Hotel located at 999 Ninth Street, NW, directly across from the Washington Convention Center.We will focus our discussions on legal and regulatory topics currently in the national spotlight, including blending, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) recently released pretreatment streamlining rule, sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs) and host of other water quality issues. We have confirmed the participation of key EPA leaders to join NACWA members in attendance at WEFTEC for this informative meeting, including Jim Hanlon, director of EPA’s Office of Wastewater Management, Mary Smith, director of the Engineering and Analysis Division in EPA’s Office of Science and Technology, and Linda Boornazian, director of the Water Permits Division in the Office of Wastewater Management.
