AMSA and the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies are pleased to present Developments in Water & Wastewater Law. . . A Seminar for Public Agency Attorneys. The seminar will take place on Thursday and Friday, November 12-13, 1998, at the Hyatt Islandia Hotel in San Diego, California.
The seminar’s agenda will focus attention on numerous issues currently challenging public agency attorneys. Sessions on the legal aspects of privatization or reorganization of utilities, legal issues associated with the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act, government and citizen suit enforcement and toxic torts are planned. Emerging issues such as the control of nonpoint sources and the development of total maximum daily loads will also be examined. Continuing legal education (CLE) credits will be offered.
