AMSAs 2000 National Environmental Policy Forum & 30th Anniversary Annual Meeting is rapidly approaching. Enclosed are your membership materials for the meeting and a final program containing important information on scheduled activities. Included in this Member Update are the following:
Attachment A: PROXY (PDF Format)
The agenda for AMSA's 2000 Annual Business Meeting contains many important items including an amendment to AMSA's Bylaws. Members unable to attend the Policy Forum are urged to complete the proxy form under Attachment A. Please forward your completed proxy to the National Office by May 15, 2000.Attachment B: FINAL MEETING PROGRAM
Registration information follows the final meeting program. As of today, we have sold out our room block at the Marriott at Metro Center; however, if you have yet to make your reservations, we encourage you to contact them first — as there may have been cancellations. AMSA has secured an additional block of rooms at the Capitol Hill Suites — just a short Metro or cab ride from the Marriott. The information you will require to make a reservation at the Capitol Hill Suites is included under this attachment. Please contact Nirah Shapo at AMSA's National Office at 202/833-8418 or nshapo@amsa-cleanwater.org should you have difficulty making hotel reservations. All of AMSA's Special Committees will meet during the Policy Forum. The agendas for each committee are provided under Attachment C.Attachment D: PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO AMSA'S BYLAWS (PDF Format)
A proposed amendment to AMSA's Bylaws are contained in Attachment D. The proposed amendment has been recommended for membership approval by months of consideration by AMSA's Board of Directors. Members are encouraged to review the amendments prior to the Policy Forum. A vote on the amendment will take place during AMSA's Annual Business Meeting.Thank you for your attention to these materials. We look forward to seeing you in May in Washington!
