Wastewater utility wins recognition Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility received an "Excellence in Management Recognition" from the Association of Metropolitan Sewerage Agencies at AMSA's 2004 Winter Conference. The award recognizes public wastewater utilities with management programs that address the wide range of challenges involved in providing clean water. AWWU was selected for significant efforts over the past several years.
