National Biosolids Partnership <www.biosolids.org>
The goal of the National Biosolids Partnership (NBP), a not--
for-profit alliance formed in 1997 by the Association of
Metropolitan Sewerage Agencies (AMSA), the Water Environment
Federation (WEF), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S.
EPA), is to advance environmentally sound and accepted biosolids
management practices. The Web site's "Newsroom" page offers weekly
updated news items on users, regulation, and research. A "Calendar"
page tracks industry-related events, and a "toolbox" page contains
links to reports, fact sheets, and other technical documents. The
site also offers contact information for regional and national
biosolids and pretreatment coordinators in U.S. EPA and state
offices.
