Association Honors Waste-Water Plant

El Paso's Roberto Bustamante Waste water Treatment Plant received the
Platinum Peak Performance Award for the fifth straight year for complying with
the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit requirements.
The Association of Metropolitan Sewerage Agencies gave the award to the plant,
which is managed by Superintendent Jose Luis Ramirez.
The plant in Southeast El Paso has a treatment capacity of 39 million gallons
per day.
