Registration Information

REGISTRATION
To attend the 2001 National Environmental Policy Forum & 31st Annual Meeting please complete the enclosed registration form and mail or fax it along with your registration fee(s) payable to AMSA, or register on AMSA’s web site at www.amsa-cleanwater.org. Advanced registrations must be received by Friday, May 11, 2001. Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via mail or email. Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed in writing. Should you register, but are unable to attend, a full refund will be made if the cancellation is received by AMSA no later than Friday, May 11, 2001. Thereafter, a $100 cancellation fee will be applied.

 
PRESIDENT'S RECEPTION SPECIAL INFORMATION
This evening-long event will take place Monday, May 21st, for all to enjoy. The Reception Buffet will begin with cocktails and move into a supper club atmosphere where there will be a special performance by The Capitol Steps. Dress is business attire.

 
ACCOMMODATIONS AND RATES
A block of rooms has been reserved for conference participants at the Marriott at Metro Center from Friday, May 18 through Wednesday, May 23. Reservations must be made by Friday, April 27, 2001 in order to receive the group rate. After this date, reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only, with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply. To ensure a hotel room, contact the Marriott at Metro Center, 800/228-9290 and indicate that you are a registrant for the AMSA Conference. The special room rate is $172 single/double, plus applicable taxes. Check-in time is 4:00 pm, check-out is 12:00 pm and baggage storage is available. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the hotel. The address and telephone number of the Marriott at Metro Center is: 775 12th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005; phone: 202/737-2200. If you are a late registrant, or seeking alternate accommodations, the National Office will be happy to assist you with information on other hotels in the area.

AIRLINE RESERVATIONS
AMSA has selected American Airlines as the carrier for their upcoming meeting in Washington, DC. To utilize the group discount, call the toll-free number 800/433-1790 to make your reservation. Refer to the Association’s AN Number 2151AJ and the dates of May 20 - May 24 when making your reservation. AMSA’s discount rates will be available for travel up to 5 days before and after the meeting.

 
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
The Marriott at Metro Center is approximately 15 minutes from Ronald Reagan National Airport and approximately 1 hour from both Dulles International and Baltimore-Washington International Airports.
