Accommodations and Rates
A block of rooms has been reserved for conference participants at the Sonesta Beach Resort Key Biscayne Tuesday, November 4 through Thursday, November 6. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, October 14, to receive the group rate. After this date, reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only, with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply. To ensure a hotel room, contact the Sonesta Beach Resort at 305/361-2021 and indicate that you are a registrant of the AMSA Conference. The special room rate is $175 for a single/double plus a daily resort fee of $12 and applicable taxes. Check-in time is 4:00 pm, check-out is 11:00 am, and baggage storage is available. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the hotel. The address and telephone number of the Sonesta Beach Resort is: 350 Ocean Drive, Miami, FL; phone: 305/361-2021. If you are a late registrant, or seeking alternate accommodations once the Sonesta room block is full, the National Office will be happy to assist you with information on other hotels in the area.

Conference Registration
To attend AMSA’s Developments in Clean Water Law Seminar, please complete the enclosed registration form and mail or fax it along with your registration fee(s) payable to AMSA, or register on AMSA’s web site at www.amsa-cleanwater.org/meetings/03law/. Advance registrations must be received by Thursday, October 23, 2003. Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via mail or e-mail. Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed. Should you register, but are unable to attend, a full refund will be made if the cancellation is received by AMSA no later than October 23. Thereafter, a $100 cancellation fee will be applied.

Airline Reservations
AMSA has selected American Airlines as the carrier for their upcoming meeting in Miami, FL. To utilize the group discount, call the toll-free number 800/433-1790 to make your reservation. Refer to the Association’s AN Number 32N3AB and the conference dates of November 5 - 7 when making your reservation. AMSA’s discount rates will be available up to 3 days before and after the conference.

Ground Transportation
The Sonesta Beach Resort Key Biscayne is approximately 25 minutes from Miami International Airport. The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, they recommended the Super Shuttle (one-way fare is $15). Return reservations for the shuttle from the hotel to the airport can be made through the concierge. Taxis are available for a flat rate of $31 each way.

Avis Rent-A-Car has been designated as the official car rental company for the 2003 Law Seminar. Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800/331-1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081. The Sonesta Beach Resort has valet parking available at $14 per day, including in-and-out privileges.
