Registration
To attend AMSA’s 2003 National Environmental Policy Forum & 33rd Annual Meeting, please complete the enclosed registration form and mail or fax it along with your registration fee(s) payable to AMSA, or register on AMSA’s web site at here. Advance registrations must be received by Monday, May 12, 2003. Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via mail or email. Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed in writing. Should you register, but are unable to attend, a full refund will be made if the cancellation was received by AMSA no later than May 5, 2003. Thereafter, a $100 cancellation fee will be applied.

Accommodations and Rates
A block of rooms has been reserved for conference participants at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill from Friday, May 16 through Wednesday, May 21. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, April 22 to receive the group rate. After this date, reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only, with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply. To ensure a hotel room, contact the Hyatt Regency Washington, 202/737-1234 and indicate that you are a registrant of the AMSA Conference. The special room rate is $219 for a single/double plus applicable taxes. Check-in time is 3:00 pm, check-out is 12:00 pm, and baggage storage is available. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the hotel. If you are a late registrant, or seeking alternate accommodations once the room block is full, the National Office will be happy to assist you with information on other hotels in the area.

Airline Reservations
AMSA has selected American Airlines as the carrier for their upcoming meeting in Washington, DC. To utilize the group discount, call the toll-free number 800/433-1790 to make your reservation. Refer to the Association’s AN Number 9053AM and the dates of May 17 - 21 when making your reservation. AMSA’s discount rates will be available up to 5 days before and after the meeting.

Ground Transportation
The Hyatt Regency Washington is approximately 15 minutes from Ronald Reagan National Airport and approximately 1 hour from both Dulles International and Baltimore-Washington International Airports. The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle.

  • Taxi (approx. $15 from National, $55 from Dulles, $60 from Baltimore)

  • Super Shuttle (from National, Dulles or Baltimore) – reps. at each airport or call 800/258-3826

  • Metro (subway system) – take blue line train from National Airport to Metro Center. Transfer to the red line, and the closest stop to the Hyatt is Union Station, approximately 5 blocks away.

Avis Rent-A-Car has been designated as the official car rental company for the 2003 National Environmental Policy Forum & 33rd Annual Meeting. The Hyatt Regency Washington has valet parking available at $26 per day, including in-and-out privileges.
