We hope that you will take advantage of all that Norfolk has to offer while you are in town for the 2004 Pretreatment Coordinators Workshop. Norfolk was recently dubbed “The South’s #1 Big City to Live In” by Money Magazine, and it offers a wide array of activities to its visitors as well.

These days, Norfolk is so excited about what they have to offer its visitors, the Norfolk Convention & Visitors Bureau offers a few fun facts to entice you to get to know their city better. Here are some excerpts of what they have to say:

(If you would prefer to skip these excerpts and go directly to some helpful travel-planning links, click here.)

  • You are encouraged to dine al fresco and try both regional and international cuisine at one of Norfolk’s many restaurants and bistros.
  • Norfolk hosts more than 100 festivals year-round, including the Virginia Wine Festival, Harborfest, and Bayou Boogaloo Cajun Festival. All of these fun festivals take place along this waterside city’s Town Point Park.
