Hotel Accommodations & Rates
AMSA has secured a special group rate of $175 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Westin La Cantera for conference attendees. Reservations must be made by Monday, January 10, to receive the special rate. After this date, AMSA must release the unreserved rooms and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Westin La Cantera at 210/558-6500. Be sure to identify yourself as an AMSA Conference attendee.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out is 12:00 pm. Baggage storage is available for your convenience. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the hotel. The address and telephone number of the Westin La Cantera is: 16641 La Cantera Parkway.; phone: 210/558-6500.

Conference Registration
To register for the 2005 Winter Conference, please complete the online registration form. Advance registrations must be received by Wednesday, January 19, 2005. Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via mail or e-mail. Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed in writing.

The 2005 Winter Conference Registration Rates are as follows:

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be made if the cancellation is received by AMSA by January 19th. Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.

Airline Discounts
AMSA has selected American Airlines as the official carrier for the 2005 Winter Conference. To utilize the group discount, call the toll-free number 800/433-1790 to make your reservation. Refer to the Association’s AN Number 6015AX and the conference dates of February 1 – 4, 2005 when making your reservation. AMSA’s discount rates will be available up to 3 days before and after the conference.

Ground Transportation
The Westin La Cantera is approximately 20 minutes from San Antonio International Airport. The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however there are several transportation alternatives to choose from:

Taxi:
Approximately $32 each way, to and from the San Antonio airport.

SATrans:
One-way fare is $16.00 — The shuttle can be found outside of baggage claim in both terminals at the airport. No reservation is needed for transportation from the airport to the hotel; however, call 210-281-9900 to make a reservation for a return trip to the airport.

Car Rental:
AMSA has selected Avis Rent-A-Car as the official car rental company for the 2005 Winter Conference. Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800/331-1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081.

Hotel Parking:
The Westin La Cantera has overnight valet parking available at $12 per day, including in-and-out privileges. The hotel also has self parking available at no charge. For the self-parking option, the hotel runs shuttles 24 hours a day to transport guests throughout the property.
