Hotel Accommodations & Rates
The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $225 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the JW Marriott Palm Desert for conference attendees. Reservations must be made by Friday, January 6, 2006 to receive the special rate. After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

Check-in time is 4:00 pm; check-out is 12:00 pm. Baggage storage is available for your convenience. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the hotel. Conference Registration Fees & Information
To register for the Winter Conference, please complete the registration form and mail or fax it along with your registration fee(s) payable to NACWA. You may also register online at NACWA’s website at www.nacwa.org/meetings/06winter. Advance registrations must be received by Thursday, January 19, 2006. Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via mail or e-mail. Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation Policy:
A full refund will be made if the cancellation is received by NACWA by January 19. Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.

Ground Transportation
The JW Marriott Palm Desert is approximately 25 minutes from the Palm Springs International Airport; however, several Southern California airports are within 1½ – 2 hours by car (Ontario International Airport is approx. 1¼ hours drive; Los Angeles International, San Diego International, and John Wayne (Orange County) Airports are all approx. 1¾ hours drive). The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however there are several transportation alternatives to choose from:

Taxi:
The fare from the Palm Springs International Airport to the JW Marriott Palm Desert is approximately $45 each way.

Shuttles:
Shuttle services are available from the Palm Springs International Airport. At Your Service Shuttle offers a fare of $31 each way. An advance reservation is required to guarantee a seat and must made at least 3 days ahead. Reservations can be made by calling 760.343.0666 or by email at vansareus@aol.com. At Your Service has a 24 hour cancellation policy for all reservations. Desert Valley Shuttle offers a one-way fare of $38 and a round-trip fare of $65. An advance reservation is required to guarantee a seat and must be made 2 weeks in advance. Reservations can be made by calling 800.413.3999. Desert Valley has a 48 hour cancellation policy. Super Shuttle (800.BLUEVAN) offers a fare of $197 1-way from LAX and $117 1-way from Ontario.

Car Rental:
NACWA has selected Avis Rent-A-Car as the official car rental company for the 2006 Winter Conference. Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800.331.1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081.

Hotel Parking:
The JW Marriott Palm Desert has valet parking available at a fee of $18 per day, including in and out privileges. Complimentary self parking is also available.
