Leading the Way . . . POTWs Take
Environmental
Protection Beyond the Pipe
July 20-23, 2004
The Westin Tabor Center, Denver, Colorado
AMSA’s upcoming Summer Conference, Leading the Way. . . POTWs Take Environmental Protection Beyond the Pipe, will be held at The Westin Tabor Center in Denver, Colo., July 20 – 23, 2004. The conference program will examine how the wastewater treatment community is responding to ever-increasing expectations relating to water quality and environmental protection. Clearly, wastewater utilities across the nation are now playing a much larger role “beyond the pipe” as they assume nontraditional wastewater management roles. The 2004 Summer Conference agenda will address a wide range of issues facing the clean water community, including:
- Controlling wet weather impacts within a watershed;
- Managing “existing uses” and conducting “use reviews”;
- Water quality monitoring;
- Water reuse; and,
- Much more!
