The following report sets forth issues and activities anticipated to be addressed through the Financing & Management Committee over the next year:
- Provide guidance and support through the Competitiveness Workgroup for the production of an AMSA source guide publication, a "yellow pages" of innovative operations, maintenance, financing and staffing programs completed or underway at POTWs nationwide. Consult on the agenda for AMSA’s 1999 Winter Conference, which will focus on entrpreneurial successes in the wastewater industry.
- Conduct, analyze and publish annual AMSA Index (index of annual residential household service charges among AMSA’s membership).
- Conduct, analyze and publish The AMSA Financial Survey 1999
- Monitor funding issues through federal appropriations process.
- Discuss alternative financing options for funding projects within the context of a watershed approach.
- Assist in reviewing legislative and regulatory proposals that may affect financing and management issues.
