while you are in town for the 2004 Pretreatment Coordinators Workshop.

visitors, the Norfolk Convention & Visitors Bureau offers a few fun facts to

- You are encouraged to dine al fresco and try both regional and
international cuisine at one of Norfolk’s many restaurants and bistros.
- Norfolk hosts more than 100 festivals year-round, including the
Virginia Wine Festival, Harborfest, and Bayou Boogaloo Cajun Festival.
All of these fun festivals take place along this waterside city’s Town
Point Park.
- The city’s most popular attractions include many sites which
highlight its seaport location: Nauticus: The National Maritime Museum;
Battleship Wisconsin; and tours of the world’s largest naval base,
Norfolk Naval Station.
- For the savvy shopper, Norfolk offers options from antiques to
upscale shopping.

Hampton Roads Naval Museum is operated and funded by Commander, Navy Region,
Mid-Atlantic and is dedicated to the 225 years of naval history in Hampton
Roads. The museum is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the

Historic Fort Norfolk helped protect Norfolk during the War of 1812.
