Hotel Accommodations & Rates
AMSA has secured a special group rate of $121 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott for conference attendees. Reservations must be made by Monday, October 4th, to receive the special rate. After this date, AMSA must release the unreserved rooms and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

Conference Registration
To register for the 2004 National Pretreatment Coordinators Workshop, please register online at AMSA’s website at www.amsa-cleanwater.org/meetings/04pret/. Advance registrations must be received by Thursday, October 14, 2004. Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via mail or e-mail. Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be made if the cancellation is received by AMSA by October 14th. Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.

Airline Discounts
AMSA has selected American Airlines as the official carrier for the 2004 National Pretreatment Coordinators Workshop. To utilize the group discount, call the toll-free number 800/433-1790 to make your reservation. Refer to the Association’s AN Number 99H4AC and the conference dates of October 27 - 29 when making your reservation. AMSA’s discount rates will be available up to 3 days before and after the conference.

Ground Transportation
The Norfolk Waterside Marriott is approximately 15 minutes from Norfolk International Airport. The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however there are several transportation alternatives to choose from:

Taxi:
Approximately $25 each way, to and from the Norfolk airport.

Norfolk Airport Express:
One-way fare is $19.00 — The shuttle can be found outside door #3 in the arrival side of the airport. No reservation is needed for transportation from the airport to the hotel; however, call 800/643-2197 to make a reservation for a return trip to the airport.

Car Rental:
AMSA has selected Avis Rent-A-Car as the official car rental company for the 2004 National Pretreatment Coordinators Workshop. Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800/331-1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081.

Hotel Parking:
The Norfolk Waterside Marriott has valet parking available at $24 per day, including in-and-out privileges. The hotel has overnight self parking available at a charge of $17, also including in-and-out privileges. The parking garage is across the street from the hotel.
