The Westin Hilton Head is SOLD OUT!
The NACWA conference block of rooms at the Westin Hilton Head is SOLD OUT for the 2005 Summer Conference — BUT WE’VE MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO ACCOMMODATE YOU. If you have not yet made a hotel reservation, there are alternate hotels on the island with rooms available. The closest property to the Westin is the Hampton Inn (phone: 843/681-7900), located approximately 1 mile from the Westin, and they are currently offering a rate of $104 plus applicable taxes. The Residence Inn (phone: 843/686-5700) and the Fairfield Inn & Suites (phone: 843/842-4800) are both located approximately 3 miles from the Westin and are offering rates from $89 - $119. The Holiday Inn (phone: 843/785-5126) is oceanfront and is located approximately 6 miles from the Westin, and they are currently offering rates from $181 - $189.

If you stay at an alternate property in Hilton Head, you will be welcome to use the pool and beach facilities at the Westin as a NACWA conference attendee. Conference Registration Fees & Information
To register for Summer Conference, please complete the registration form (PDF) and mail or fax (202/833-4657) it along with your registration fee(s) payable to NACWA. You may register online using a credit card through NACWA’s website. Advance registrations must be received by Tuesday, July 5, 2005. Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via mail or e-mail. Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be made if the cancellation is received by NACWA by July 5. Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.

Ground Transportation
The Westin Hilton Head is approximately 1 hour from the Savannah International Airport. The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however there are several transportation alternatives to choose from:

Taxi:
The fare from the Savannah International Airport to the Westin Hilton Head is $45 each way, plus any bridge tolls and $5 for each additional passenger.

Shuttle:
Gray Line’s Low Country Adventures runs shuttle services at a fare of $34 one-way and $58 round-trip. A private van service is also offered at a fare of $75 one-way for the first two passengers and $25 each additional passenger. An advance reservation is strongly recommended at least 24 hours in advance and can be made by calling 800/845-5582 or at www.lowcountryadventures.com.

Car Rental:
NACWA has selected Avis Rent-A-Car as the official car rental company for the 2005 Summer Conference. Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800/331-1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081.

Hotel Parking:
The Westin Hilton Head has complimentary self parking available. Valet parking is also available at a fee of $15 per night, including in and out privileges.
